To Catch a Thief
Last weekend, my friend and I went shopping at the newly-opened department store.When we were walking along the sidewalk, a man wearing a green cap suddenly grabbed my handbag and ran away quickly.My friend stood still with her legs shaking.She got shocked and yelled"Help!" The passersby noticed this and they all chased the man angrily.Some people even brought mops trying to hit the bad guy.
Among all the people, the young boy who was tall and thin ran ahead and he shouted"give back the handbag." the bad guy was too scared to hold the bag tightly.In the end, the young boy caught the bad guy and he also caught the police to send him to the police station.Eventually, the police officer gave my handbag back to me.I was thankful for the help of the young boy.It was really an exciting day.
