Good afternoon. My name is Sherry. I study in 文德girls’ high school. English is my favorite subject, so, at school, I try to get good grades in English. I spend a lot of time previewing and reviewing the lessons. I study English not just for school, but for myself. Because I’m really interested in English, I listen to English songs, and I also like English movies and magazines.

When I was a child, I didn’t do very well in every subject, but English brings me confidence. I want to be an English teacher in the future, so that I can help students like me to become confident of themselves.

I joined two English-related clubs at school. One is about English play; the other is about English poetry. At the club of English play, the teacher taught us some techniques of acting and performing, which I found very interesting. I also enjoy going to the club of English poetry. The teacher guided us to the world of poetry. Byron is my favorite poet. He is so young and talented, and his poems are very romantic.

I’ve been to Canada once and stayed there for one month. It was an exciting experience to me. I experienced great culture shock. It’s interesting to talk to people from different countries and to know about their culture.

I’m a hard-working student, and I hope I can study in your school. Thank you
